Overview

Exowpee uses Laravel’s logging system with multiple channels for different types of log data.

Log configuration lives in config/logging.php. The default channel is set via:

Activity logging

Beyond application logs, Exowpee has a separate activity logging system that tracks model changes (see Activity Logging). This is stored in the activity_log database table, not in log files.

Production recommendations

  1. Use daily channel with log rotation
  2. Set LOG_LEVEL=warning in production (skip debug/info noise)
  3. Forward logs to a monitoring service (Datadog, Sentry, etc.)
  4. Monitor for error level entries
  5. Set up alerts for repeated authentication failures
