Undo latest depreciation (client account)
Client space Accounting module For: Accountant · Permission: fixed_assets.depreciate Conditions
  • The accounting module must be part of the organization’s plan.
  • The asset must have at least one depreciation row.
  • Only the latest depreciation row (by period start) can be rolled back, and only when it posted no accounting entry; a row with an entry must be undone by reversing that entry.
  • The period of that row must be open.
  • The asset must not be disposed of.
  • A derogatory fiscal event tied to the row that already has reversals blocks the rollback.
What else happens
  • Deletes the depreciation row.
  • Subtracts the row’s amounts from the asset’s accumulated depreciation and fiscal accumulated depreciation, sets the status back to active (or fully_depreciated when the base is still covered) and increments its version.
  • Cancels each derogatory fiscal event created by that row and posts a reversal entry for its provision.
Part of Fixed assets and depreciation.
