Who works where
Afiavi works in the organization space of the firm. From there she creates and manages all the client accounts. Each client account has its own client space, where the people of that client work in their own books. This page follows Afiavi in the organization space, then the client’s own view at the end.Create a client account
A new baker joins the firm. Afiavi creates the account with Create a client account. She gives the name, the currency of the books and, if she wants, a logo. The client starts active and its own books are opened at once, in the client’s space. Afiavi becomes a member of the new client and receives its administrator role and profile.Find and review the clients
Afiavi lists her clients with List clients, filtered by name or by active state, and opens one with View a client account.Switch a client off and on
When Akanni Transports stops using the firm for a while, Afiavi uses Deactivate a client account. When the contract resumes, Activate a client account turns it back on. The client is not deleted.Let the client keep its own details
Inside the client space, a member with the right permission sees the account with View my client account and corrects the name, the registration numbers, the address or the logo with Update my client account. The rules
- Only the owner of the organization can create a client account.
- Creating a client needs a name, a currency code of 3 characters (trimmed and stored in uppercase) and a number of decimal places from 0 to 6.
- Client account names are unique within the organization, compared in lowercase.
- The logo is a jpeg, png, jpg, gif or svg image of at most 2048 KB. Sending a new logo replaces the old file; sending null removes it.
- Permissions are
clients.list,clients.retrieveandclients.update(also used to activate and deactivate). - While a client account is off, its members and agent accounts are refused in its client space.
- The two client-space actions are for members only; agent accounts are refused.
